We advise all of our patients to arrive at our office at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.  If you have not completed the patient forms online and you have not been seen in our office in the last year we would like for you to arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to give you plenty of time to fill out required paperwork. Initial evaluation appointments generally take around 30 minutes.  Root canal treatment appointments can take anywhere from one hour to two hours depending on the complexity of the case.  If you should need to cancel or reschedule an appointment with us, please try to give us at least 24 hours notice.  A fee may be applied to your account if do not show for an appointment or if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice.  Generally, we do not require you to have an escort after receiving treatment at our office unless you will be taking a prescription sedative.

Endodontics fees vary based on the complexity of the required treatment, such as:  tooth location, infections, access through a crown, number of canals treated etc.. Therefore, we can provide you with an estimate of the anticipated charges for your treatment plan.  We want to provide you the finest care at the most reasonable cost.  In order for us to provide you with high quality care, it is neccessary for insurance co-pay or payment in full to be due when services are rendered.  The costs for an inital evaluation and x-rays are around $97.  The full costs for root canal therapy can range from $900-$1500  per tooth. For your convenience we accept the following methods of payment:

If you have questions regarding your account or if you would like a pricing estimate for your treatment, please call our office.  Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings.

Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks.  Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame.  You are responsible for any remaining balance that your insurance company has not paid.  Your prompt remittance is appreciated.   If your insurance company fails to pay within 45 days of filing, then you will be responsible for any balance within the following 30 days. Balances over 90 days due are considered delinquent, and will be turned over to a collection agency.  The patient must then pay the outstanding balance plus additional collections fees and interest/finance charge of 1.5% per month (annual rate:18%) will be applied to balances if turned over to collections.

Dental insurance coverage has become more complex due to the vast number of dental plans and the range of benefits each plan provides. Some plans may cover certain dental procedures, while others may not.  Few dental insurance policies fully compensate for specialty endodontic treatment. We will work closely with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures.  Our doctors are participating providers for Delta Dental.  We will file insurance claims for most dental insurance carriers and accept their reimbursement as partial payment. Prior to your appointment, we will call your insurance carrier to find out the details of your coverage.  You will be expected to pay your estimated portion at your treatment appointment.  Any remaining balance on your account after your insurance pays will be your responsibility.
